About Me

Hi, I’m Aaron 👋🏻. I like to build things. Some examples for you:

• I’ve helped build a couple of NetSuite consulting practices.
• I’ve built some software for NetSuite that makes life easy for people who manage expenses in a multi-subsidiary environment.
• I’ve built plenty of custom apps and tools for lots of people, including recurring billing, integrations, printing tools, custom screens, and other fun tools.

I continue to work on building my skills and knowledge each day, by learning new languages, both technical languages

• TypeScript/JavaScript
• SQL
• Python
• C# and VB.NET
• HTML (does this count as a language?)
• CSS

…and written/spoken languages.

• Español (Spanish) - I understand most everything, and speak fairly confidently.
• Deutsch (German) - I’m still working on this one, but I got around the country just fine.
• Italiano (Italian) - Could be better. I get mixed up with Spanish when I speak Italian.
• 中文 (Chinese) - My Chinese speaking friends say I do alright, but I’m sure they’re just being kind.

I’m also the father of four amazingly talented kids (And I say that without any bias at all 😅.), and lucky husband of a smart and talented wife (again… zero bias.)

These days I specialize in building tools and applications for NetSuite, (I use Vim/NeoVim, by the way. And sometimes VS Code with vim motions. 😉) but I’ve worked with many different ERP/Accounting programs over the years, and I like them all. I even like plain text accounting.
